  7. We are similar in many fundamental ways. That’s why I’ve found that we will always find what we’re looking for. If we want to see differences, we will see all kind of differences. If we want to see similarities, we will see all kind of similarities. Everything is subjective.
  8. I am being subjective.
  9. I like reading. I spent most of my primary years to read all sort of books. Then I got banned after asking my mother to explain what is “brothel”.

  15. I was wrong. Ph.D. program is completely different from master and undergraduate. It requires very different mindset, different ways of thinking and doing, different endurance level. You’d be up to the sky sometimes and down to ground most of the time, feeling totally stupid and worthless.
  16. I read about database for more than a year to realize that I had no research interest on that, and changed to multimedia streaming. One of my advisors later told me that if you read something and don’t like it, leave it.

  21. I’m doing what I like and probably good at: analyzing and consulting on IT market, a mix between technology and business.
  22. I believe everyone should find what and who you really love, the sooner the better. Don’t waste time. Life is really short. We all die eventually. Must enjoy the journey.
  23. If there’s incarnation, I were probably a monk, or a rabbit. I can live with fruits and carrots. And I see death and life the same: random and marvellous.

  25. I love you all. Really, my friends. At least in a Buddhist way, my foes :)).
